The Gift of Safe Motherhood
In Khuda ki Basti, an impoverished community in Karachi, expecting mothers face major barriers to quality care. Penny Appeal Canada supports safe births, pre- and postnatal care, and 24/7 birthing services to reduce maternal and infant mortality and improve community health.

As part of the MNCH (Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health) program, this project will bring safe births, healthier starts, and dignity to Khuda ki Basti by delivering the following services: -Serve a community of 20,000 women and children. -Provide pre- and post-natal care to new mothers. -Enhance Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) center facilities with 24/7 birthing services. -Improve the overall health and well-being of the community by ensuring access to essential maternal and child healthcare services.
