SRD (Syria Relief & Development) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing crisis humanitarian relief and advancing a comprehensive, sustainable development agenda in Syria and the surrounding region for over 13 years. Our extensive portfolio spans healthcare, protection, nutrition, education, livelihoods, and food security. What sets us apart is the intersection of our work in healthcare and the protection of women and children, resulting in a strong focus on reproductive health, gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response, as well as maternity and newborn care.
A Future Born Safely

Every mother deserves a safe pregnancy and a secure birth. Across Syria in low‑resource settings, essential maternity services remain scarce, exposing women to complications like postpartum hemorrhage and mental health challenges. Our 2026 campaign will expand access to proven postpartum hemorrhage prevention and treatment, maternal and newborn mental‑health support, nutrition programs, skilled birth attendants and quality facility‑based care while strengthening health systems. Your support will help provide the supplies needed to restore safety, dignity and hope for mothers and their babies.
